Neurological Rehabilitation.

I have a gym where I can work with people with problems with their mobility and daily activities due to neurological problems such as stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, cerebellar degeneration and other conditions.

There is now a huge amount of research published on the benefits of exercise for maintaining our health both physically and psychologically. However we all know that fitting regular exercise into our days and maintaining healthy levels of activity is challenging. When we add disability into the mix this becomes even more of a challenge but is just, if not more important.

I have many years experience in planning appropriate individualised exercise programmes. My focus is to work with patients to find achievable, enjoyable and meaningful ways to exercise which fit in with their personal choices, abilities and lifestyles. This hopefully makes it easier to continue to exercise and not give up.
